JOB: Human Resource Assistant

Our client a well-established company is looking for a Human Resource Assistant.

Job Purpose;

The HR Assistant is responsible for providing general administrative and human resource support to management.


 Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Keeping personnel records and documentation for all employees and partners.
  • Ensuring compliance with all local and company driven employee engagement policies.
  • Coordinates processes as well as verifies and maintains personnel related documentation including
    • Recruitment
    • Onboarding
    • Training
    • Performance management
    • Probation appraisals
    • Staff evaluations
    • Grievance handling
    • Leave management
    • Explains company personnel policies, benefits &procedures to new and existing employees or job applicants.
    • Handle all employee management issues for the business
      • Staff welfare
      • Employee relations
      • Employee counselling
      • All disciplinary notifications
      • Provides general administrative coordination and support to management and staff around office management.
      • Arranges and coordinates:
        • Job vacancy advertising and posting
        • Notifies eligible employees of position availability


Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications

  • Minimum diploma in HR.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good oral and written communication in English
  • Good interpersonal and excellent organizational skills.
  • Good human relations handling skills
  • Proficient in word, excel, access, PowerPoint.
