JOB: Human Resource Executive Uganda

 

Our client, in Manufacturing firm seeking to fill the position of Senior Human Resource Executive Position in Uganda.

 

Duties & Responsibility;

  • Responsible for execution of day to day HR functions.
  • Staff selection, recruitment and staffing management.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing regulatory requirements.
  • Implementation of Policies & procedures according to organizational objectives.
  • Managing the Company’s Performance Appraisal Procedures.
  • Assist with running Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health programs.
  • Manage employee relations such as; disciplinarians, grievances, absence and sickness.
  • Sensitize staff on the grievance and disciplinary hearing process and draft the minutes during disciplinary hearings.
  • Training & Development; assess needs in conjunctions with the management team, prepare budgets, plan for training programs for the entire organization.
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by the management from time to time.


Qualification, Competences required;

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource management from a recognized institution OR a degree in Social Science and a higher diploma in Human Resource Management;
  • At least 4 years' experience in the same capacity in a busy environment·
  • Registration with a professional HR Body
  • Experience in FMCG industry is an added advantage.
  • Expert knowledge of human resources processes, systems and practices.
  • Good knowledge of Labour Laws.
  • Leadership and Management Skills
  • Excellent Organizational, interpersonal and communicational skills
  • Good communication and public relations skills
