JOB: Imports Assistant



  • Preparing Purchase Order for overseas suppliers
  • Process, monitor and raise relevant documents related to imports
  • Monitor shipments
  • Liaising with clearing agents on cargo clearance with customs authority.
  • Liaising with stock control on preparation of Goods Received note.
  •  Checking and verification of goods on arrival
  • Making arrangements for insurance covers for shipments
  • Liaising with stock control team, to ensure stocks are always in supply.
  • Filling all relevant documents


Desirable experience;

  • Knowledge of import customs processes.
  • Fully familiar with imports process of PPB, IDF, CoC etc.
  • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organization and prioritizing skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Commercially knowledge.


  • Degree or Diploma in At least a Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • At least 3 years in similar role
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
