JOB:TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE 

 

 

Our client providing water treatment solutions in East Africa is looking to hire a TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE.

JOB PURPOSE;

The candidate will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Developing positive relationships and handling customers’ needs
  • Generating new sales using existing and potential customer networks
  • Supervise sales representatives to ensure sales increase
  •   Report on the status of accounts and transactions
  •  Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  •   Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  •  Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  •  

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS;

 

  • Preferably a University Graduate in Business Management, Commerce, Business, Economics or other related studies.
  •  Technical training in water treatment technology and design, water chemistry, pump sizing, plumbing systems design and related studies an added advantage
  •  At least 4 years Business Development Management or related experience and at least 5 years in a Sales, Business Development, Sales or other key Business Management Role
  • Team Management Experience
  • Target setting, budget creation and statistical analysis experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
