Our client a leading Consumer good -manufacturing firm is looking to hire an Assistant Account Executive
Job Location; Mombasa
JOB PURPOSE;
The ideal candidate will be responsible for account handling, documentation follow up, offer communication, checking on MIT team, ensuring the distributor’s account is well maintained with proper documentation, communicating price changes, offers and transit status.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Range listing and stocking ensure the distributor’s targets are met. List our full range at the distributor
- Collections, to have the account rolling avoiding order halt. Ensure all documentation is done before invoices are due to avoid holds
- Have real time market information and counter by cutting deals to secure volumes
- Conduct Market Survey to counter competition
- Have a good relationship with the distributor to get information and keep monitoring activities at the distributor
- Stock check to avoid expiries and returns. Regularly check on expiries, and control damages by ensuring stock rotation is done by the distributor
- Stocks turn around maintaining a week buffer, route wide with the distributor sales team and assist them in pushing our range of products
- Generate Weekly orders to ensure we have stocks at all time at the distributor Work on maintaining weekly buffer stocks, checking on movement and pushing the DSRs for sell out
- Pick up and escalate quality issues
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS;
- Degree/Diploma in Business related course
- Minimum of 4 years in account management,distribution
- Experience in FMCG Industry experience is a must
