Our client a leading Media house in India is looking to hire an English News Anchor.

Job Location; India

JOB PURPOSE;

The ideal candidate will  work closely with reporters and will be responsible for gathering information, broadcasting newscasts throughout the day and interviewing guests.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Anchor news bulletins from the studios
• Perform voice overs for on screen news bulletins
• Perform and assist with quick news segments
• Desk contribution in regular news bulletins, writing scripts, copy checking
• Coordinate with different department for execution of work
• Perform a greater number of shows/bulletins for better viewership hours
• Coordinate with rundown producer, show planning and promotion

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS;

• At least 3+ years of English News Anchoring experience
• Excellent command on English language (both verbal and written)
• willing to relocate in New Delhi - India
• Knowledge or Interest in Global news
• Strong editorial news sense
• Scripting and writing skills
• Confident and pleasing personality
• Great presentation skills and presence of mind
• Result oriented and Team Player
• Exposure and available for 24x7 news environment
• Candidates must be enthusiastic and energetic to contribute to the news wheel
