Sales Executive – Uganda

Our client a multinational in professional hygiene services provision is looking to hire a Sales executive for their Uganda office.

Work Station: Kampala,Uganda

Reports to: Branch manager

This position is for Uganda nationals only.

JOB PURPOSE

The ideal candidate is expected to develop effective sales plans with measurable market growth, as well as champion cross selling initiatives within Uganda.

The position requires an aggressive seller with upfront customer and market knowledge for the local territory.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Prospect for potential customers to demonstrate all company services and products. Communicate effectively to customers, give precise solutions and present quotations in the most professional manner
  • Up sell, cross sell, identify and develop new business from existing customers to increase the service range within Uganda
  • Close sales and convince clients why services offered by the Company are superior and beneficial than what competition offers
  • Take responsibility for price increases notification/mediation to the clients
  • Undertake debt collection for the customers in Uganda and maintaining agreed credit terms in liaison with the credit control office
  • Achieve of the agreed sales target
  • Manage and achieve the agreed client retention rate. Build and maintain strong professional client relationships aimed at retention.
  • Monitor the day-to-day commercial performance of each account within the portfolio.
  • Carry out analysis and provide detailed sales & service information for the client portfolio and make reports to the Business Manager as and when required
  • Maintain close teamwork and coordination with other members of the service teams to ensure that customers receive excellent service
  • Note and advice on changes and trends in the marketplace, review competitor activity, and take action to ensure company services and products remain highly visible and preferred by customers

                                              

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS;

  • A Sales/Marketing degree, or advanced diploma in sales or its equivalent will be considered.
  • Must have a minimum 2 years practical experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the services sectors
  • Female candidates are encouraged to apply
