FMCG Sales Training Manager.

Our client in the FMCG Industry is looking to hire a FMCG Sales Training Manager.

Workstation: Nairobi

Job Purpose;

The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and delivering the training needs of the sales and marketing departments

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement
  • Design training curricula
  • Produce physical and digital educational material
  • Plan, implement and manage sales educational workshops and field-based training
  • Coordinate individual and team performance review sessions to discuss strengths and weaknesses
  • Report on impact of training programs (e.g., sales achieved)
  • Liaise with external trainers or industry professionals to organize training programs and keep abreast of latest training methodologies
  • Set up and monitor training budget
  • Maintain up to date records of training material, curricula and budgets

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or any relevant field.
  • Additional certification in training is a plus
  • 5 years’ experience as a Sales Trainer or a similar role
  • Experience in a sales position
  • Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning
  • Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Solid communication and presentation abilities
  • Building and Managing Relationships
  • Great communication skills and Interpersonal skills
  • Managing and Developing Performance
