Our client in the FMCG Industry is looking to hire a FMCG Sales Training Manager.
Workstation: Nairobi
Job Purpose;
The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and delivering the training needs of the sales and marketing departments
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement
- Design training curricula
- Produce physical and digital educational material
- Plan, implement and manage sales educational workshops and field-based training
- Coordinate individual and team performance review sessions to discuss strengths and weaknesses
- Report on impact of training programs (e.g., sales achieved)
- Liaise with external trainers or industry professionals to organize training programs and keep abreast of latest training methodologies
- Set up and monitor training budget
- Maintain up to date records of training material, curricula and budgets
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or any relevant field.
- Additional certification in training is a plus
- 5 years’ experience as a Sales Trainer or a similar role
- Experience in a sales position
- Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning
- Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms
- Excellent organizational skills
- Solid communication and presentation abilities
- Building and Managing Relationships
- Great communication skills and Interpersonal skills
- Managing and Developing Performance
