Vacant: SPARE PARTS MANAGER

Our client in telecommunication industry is looking to hire a Spare parts Manager based in Nairobi.

Work Station: Nairobi

JOB PURPOSE;

The suitable candidate should ensure 24/7 spare parts in stock by region and available in the event of curative maintenance and monitor and anticipate parts needed in light of old and new sites (Modernization).

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Work in close collaboration with the Supply Chains for price negotiation to ensure the permanent availability of refill parts
• Must time inventory purchases to coincide with sales and special initiatives
• Responsible for inventory security and parts quality analysis.
• Ensure proper functioning of the sites throughout the Territory, keeping the availability of 100% separate parts in all Regions where the company has Telecom sites.
• Be procedural on reports and follow-up of equipment movements and spare parts: reports, missions, interventions. Provide information on feedback monitoring and transmit the information to the department concerned
• Identify the intervention phases based on information from site feedback
• Check the compliance of the management of those responsible for budgeting the purchase and / or repair of spare parts in areas according to the organization’s standards and procedures
• Assist and support all stakeholders in need Responsible for budgeting the purchase and / or repair of spare parts.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS;

• At least 4 years of experience in the telecoms environment
• Knowledge of inventory management
• Knowledge of spare parts management
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good analytical skills
