Job Summary

We are looking for reliable and motivated Warehouse Loading Associates / Loading Assistants to join a modern logistics operation in Germany. The successful candidates will work at the interface between warehouse operations and transport, ensuring that goods are loaded accurately, safely, and on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of quality and workplace safety.

• Loading & Unloading: Load and unload refrigerated trailers and curtain-sided trailers using electric pallet trucks (low-lift pallet trucks).

• Material Handling: Safely transport palletized goods within the warehouse and loading areas.

• Pallet Positioning: Position and distribute pallets correctly according to loading plans and transport requirements.

• Inspection & Quality Control: Inspect pallets and shipments for completeness, visible damage, and correct identification before loading.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all loading activities comply with company procedures, quality standards, health and safety regulations, and hygiene requirements.

• Team Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse personnel, transport planners, and truck drivers regarding loading schedules and operational issues.

• Multi-Temperature Operations: Work in different temperature-controlled environments (dry, chilled, and frozen storage).

• Shift Work: Perform duties in a shift-based working environment.

• Education: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent.

• Added Advantage: Certificate or Diploma in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Language Requirement: German language minimum recommended level: B1.

Experience Requirements

• Relevant Background: Previous experience in warehouse operations, goods loading/unloading, logistics, distribution centers, or freight handling.

• Equipment Handling: Experience operating electric pallet trucks is preferred.

• Entry-Level Applicants: Candidates without direct experience but willing to learn are also encouraged to apply.

• Physical Capability: Ability to safely handle goods and warehouse equipment.
