Overview
The School Driver shall be responsible for safely transporting learners to and from school, educational trips, and other authorized activities, while upholding the highest standards of safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport learners, staff, and other authorized persons as assigned.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of learners throughout every journey.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report mechanical faults promptly.
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.
- Observe all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and school transport procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Report accidents, incidents, delays, and other transport-related concerns promptly.
- Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs in accordance with assigned schedules.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by management within the school.
Requirements
- Must be aged 35–40 years.
- Must possess a valid driving licence with Class D1, D2, and D3 categories, as applicable.
- Must have a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Previous experience driving a school bus or working in a school or institutional setting will be an added advantage.
- Must have a good driving record and a strong understanding of road safety regulations.
- Must be physically fit, reliable, punctual, disciplined, and professional.
- Must demonstrate patience and the ability to interact appropriately with learners.
- Must be willing to work within the stipulated working hours and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
